Limits IEC's liability for the accuracy of market data, intelligence reports, and AI-generated content on the platform.

Jurisdiction / Legal Basis: Russian Federation · International
Presented at: Market intelligence pages, AI-generated content, deal data displays

1. Not Financial or Investment Advice

Nothing on the IEC platform — including market intelligence reports, deal benchmarks, AI matchmaking scores, analyst commentary, event presentations, or any communication from IEC staff — constitutes financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, or any other form of professional advice regulated under applicable law. IEC is not registered as a financial advisor, broker-dealer, or investment firm in any jurisdiction. Any reliance you place on IEC content for financial or investment decision-making is at your sole risk. Seek independent professional advice before making significant financial decisions.

2. Accuracy of Market Data

IEC publishes market intelligence, deal benchmarks, and energy sector data sourced from: member-reported data (self-declared by verified members); publicly available sources (news, regulatory filings, industry reports); and proprietary analysis. While we make reasonable efforts to verify accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all data is current, complete, or error-free. Energy markets are volatile; data may be outdated between publication dates. Benchmarks represent aggregated, anonymised member data and should not be treated as definitive pricing for any specific transaction.

3. AI-Generated Content

The IEC platform uses large language models (LLMs) and machine learning systems to generate: matchmaking compatibility scores and introduction recommendations; document summaries in deal rooms; analytical commentary in market reports; and chat assistant responses. AI-generated content is experimental and may contain errors, hallucinations, or outdated information. AI matchmaking scores are a starting point for human judgement, not a substitute for it. IEC accepts no liability for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content.

4. Third-Party Content

The platform may include content provided by members, event speakers, external analysts, and linked third-party sources. IEC does not endorse, verify, or assume responsibility for third-party content. Links to external websites are provided for convenience only; IEC is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of external sites. Opinions expressed by guest speakers at IEC events are their own and do not represent IEC's views.

5. Liability Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IEC excludes all liability for loss or damage — direct or indirect — arising from: reliance on information published on the platform; the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of market data or AI-generated content; technical errors, platform outages, or data corruption; or the conduct of other members or third parties. These limitations are in addition to, and do not limit, the liability limitations set out in the Terms of Service.
